Heather Rocca Has Over Eleven Years

Heather Rocca started riding horses at the age of Three and began competing at the age of Six in local 4-H clubs.  Heather began training horses and teaching riding lessons in 1998. She has ridden most disciplines including: Western, Hunter/Jumper, Dressage, Eventing, Vaulting and Trail Riding.  Heather continues to show in Dressage, Combined Training and Eventing.


Heather interned at UpReach Therapeutic Riding Center during her senior year of High School.  For Four years Heather worked for Toby Freeman, M.S.C.C.C-Sp and HorseTalk Hippotherapy where she trained and handled all the horses in the program.  Shortly thereafter, Heather managed Driftwood Stables, a 23 stall facility, until the stable relocated to another state. Heather currently manages Moon Stream Stables in Hill, NH where she trains horses and holds her lesson program.


Heather is an insured horse trainer and riding instructor and has over Eleven years experience specializing in Confidence Building, Equitation, Classical Dressage, Balanced Seat, Eventing, Cross Country, Hunter/Jumper, Showing and Natural Horsemanship.  Heather trains horses, of all ages and stages, using Natural Horsemanship.  She teaches riding lessons, of all ages, from beginner through advanced in Jumping, Eventing, Combined Training, and Competition Dressage underlined with Classical Dressage as well as teaching some Western.  Heather currently holds lessons with lesson horses at Moon Stream Stables in Hill, NH, just 10 miles from Tilton.  Heather can travel to your facility to work with you and your horse using Natural Horsemanship.

Heather trained with Orintha Silva in Classical Dressage for six years learning to ride the horse from her seat rather than her hands.  From this she teaches the horse to be more balanced.

Heather trained in Vaulting for two years with Renaissance Vaulting Club which helped to improve her balanced seat.  She encourages her riders to work with no stirrups as well as bareback.
